Hands-on Project

The President and Mrs. Obama went to a Habitat For Humanity housing project in Deanwood, a neighborhood in northeast Washington, D.C., where they visited a three-home development that will be completed at the beginning of next year.

They took them on a tour of the project then they went into one of the houses, where Mr. Obama used a roller to paint a wall while Mrs Obama took care of a corner with a brush. The paint was a shade called “cool platinum.”
