NeNe Leakes on Star Jones: 'I Don't Hate Her'

From “manipulative” to “un-ladylike,” NeNe Leaks and Star Jones have called each other nearly every name in the book. Months after their public went public, the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star says she isn’t so angry that she couldn’t say hello to her “Celebrity Apprentice” co-star.

“Saying hello costs me nothing, that’s free, NeNe told ESSENCE.com during the ESSENCE Music Festival. “I’m not so in a rage that I can’t say hello and I can’t stand in the same room as Star.

“I don’t hate her, I don’t know anybody that I hate,” she added.

NeNe famously quit “Apprentice,” after her issues with Star reached a boiling point on the show. Asked what she thinks of her former castmate now that she’s had a few months to reflect on all that happened, NeNe kept things diplomatic.

“Star is Star,” she said with a smile. “I wish her all the best.”
