Usher’s moving full steam ahead on promoting his latest album, Looking 4 Myself, with the release of his new video, “Dive.”
The dramatic clip featuring model Chanel Iman shows Usher drowning in his own love on a sinking boat. “I don’t need a lifesaver, going deeper won’t kill me,” he sings on the ballad. “The walls are looking like they may precipitate… But I promise girl, I ain’t afraid. I’m ready to take that dive.”
The slow tempo groove comes on the heels of winning primary custody of his two children on Friday. Since then, news broke that his ex-wife, Tameka Raymond, will file an appeal against the decision. She believes the presiding judge was biased.
