With 21 days left until Christmas, Mary J. Blige releases the video for “My Favorite Things” off her holiday album, A Mary Christmas.
Blige re-imagines the classic tune to the backdrop of Hollywood glamour. In the simplistic video, Blige is reminiscent of an angel in all white.
The veteran singer said that after a 20-year career, she decided to do a Christmas album because the timing was right. “It’s something that someone brought to my attention from the label,” said Blige. “It’s something I’ve always wanted to do and I went with it. It’s perfect timing.”
