It was a battle of the forces amongst one of television’s most entertaining on-screen couples, Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard, when the Empire duo showed up and showed out for this week’s episode of Spike’s Lip Sync Battle.
With a whole lot of energy and plenty more shimmy, Henson did her best rendition to Mary J. Blige’s, “Just Fine” shortly before being joined on the stage by Blige herself.
Howard was not at all phased, giving his absolute all to Commodores,’ “Brick House,” (while donning the most Rick James-esque wig).
Eventually, the two joined forces in a major flashback performance to “It’s Hard Out Here for a Pimp,” giving us straight Cookie and Luscious tease.
