Tomorrow is a big day for Heather Headley. The “In My Mind” singer and Tony award-winning actress will make her stage debut in The Bodyguard, a new musical on London’s West End. Last night, Headley sang one of Whitney Houston’s most popular songs, also a number from the show, “I Will Always Love You,” on the U.K.’s Royal Variety commanding a standing ovation from the audience.
According to the The Bodyguard‘s website, the musical will feature a number of other Whitney Houston classics, including “One Moment in Time” and “I Wanna Dance with Somebody.”
