Last night’s episode of American Idol was all about the “Diva.” The theme fit perfectly for the five remaining contestants, all women, as their honored their favorite female singers and heroes.
All eyes were on South Carolina native Candice Glover, 23, as she performed a stripped down version of Paul Abdul’s “Straight Up,” while Texas native Amber Holcomb, 19, performed a carefully crafted rendition of Barbra Streisand’s “What Are Your Doing the Rest of Your Life.”
