It looks like President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama will dine with royalty this spring. Queen Elizabeth recently invited the couple to be her guests from May 24th through 26, US Magazine reports.
The Obamas will stay at the luxurious Buckingham Palace, where Queen Elizabeth will host a royal banquet in their honor. This will be the first time a president has stayed with the royal family since 2003.
Their official visit comes just a month before the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. “Marriage is a personal private thing, they should invite who they want to invite,” Michelle Obama has said. “If I get invited, I’ll go.”
