Divorce can be complicated, but the breakup between Mel B and Stephen Belafonte is growing to new heights.
As reported last week, the former Spice Girl filed for divorce from Belafonte, alleging that he physically and mentally abused her for years, cheated on her with the nanny, got said nanny pregnant, and forced them to have threesomes.
Earlier this week, Mel B filed a 100-yard restraining order against the nanny, Lorraine Gilles, saying the woman has a storage locker with 12 to 15 boxes of singer’s belongings. Mel B believes those belongings include sex tapes and claims Gilles and Belafonte have extorted her by threatening to release them, according to TMZ.
When confronted by the publication, Belafonte who claims to be a Hollywood producer, denied the allegations saying his main concern were their children. The pair have one child together; Mel has two from other men, and Belafonte has a child from a previous relationship as well.
Belafonte has requested visitation with their 5-year-old daughter and visitation with Mel’s 10-year-old daughter with Murphy. Mel has contested by requesting sole custody of their children, TMZ notes.
