Malcolm-Jamal Warner is said to be a new father!
As reported by The New York Daily News, mom is said to be an attorney from Bridgeport, Conn. and she and Warner are “very much in love.”
News of the newborn baby came from an unlikely source, the mother of Warner’s deceased ex-girlfriend Michelle Thomas, who passed away in 1998 from cancer.
“I am elated over Malcolm’s new child,” says Phynjuar Thomas. “I love him. I hope they name the baby after me. Phynjuar is a beautiful name.”
Over the years, Warner has kept his personal life very private. Since losing Thomas to cancer, Warner has gone on to date actresses Karen Malina White and Regina King. No word on if he plans to support TV father Bill Cosby in his sexual assault trail, but his co-star Keshia Knight Pulliam has been present.
In addition to enjoying his new addition, Warner continues to work on short films, poetry and his music as a bass player.
