Congrats are in order!
Singer and actress LeToya Luckett and her new husband, Tommicus Walker, are expecting their first child together.
On Wednesday morning, the singer shared the joyous news via Instagram with an adorable video announcement and a little help from her stepdaughter, Madison.
“Hi, my name is Madison Walker and I know something you don’t know! I think I’ll give you a hint. I’m going to sing you a song. Daddy and Ms. Toya sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G. Eww! First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the baby!”
The Back 2 Life singer and Walker tied the knot in December in a lavish Texas wedding. Madison is the Dallas-based entrepreneur’s daughter from a previous relationship.
Luckett opened up to ESSENCE exclusively soon after announcing her pregnancy expressing her excitement about her growing family.
“We are over the moon and overjoyed by this news,” she said. “We feel so blessed that God has gifted us with the gift of life. We will be revealing the gender on the fourth of July. This is s straight up blessing, just a blessing. So keep us in your prayers. It doesn’t matter if it’s a girl or boy. We just wanted to have a healthy baby.”
In August, Walker swept the former Destiny’s Child songstress off her feet when he popped the question at a surprise birthday party she planned for him.
After getting engaged, the 37-year-old told ESSENCE that her now-husband is the kind of man she prayed for.
