Earlier tonight, Kim Kardashian-West posted that she had cast her vote in the 2020 presidential election. But after her husband, Kanye West, announced that he had voted for himself, fans began to wonder who exactly Kardashian-West voted for.
“I VOTED!!!! Did you?!?!,” she wrote on Twitter. “If you are in line when the hours of operation close at the polls, they are required to stay open and allow you to vote, so do not get out of line.” Her followers immediately responded, with one writing, “Sis I really hope that you didn’t waste your vote on Kanye honestly.” Another said “Who did you vote for??”
Kanye West officially announced that he was running for U.S. president on July 4, 2020. This morning, he shared that he voted for president for the first time and selected himself. “God is so good,” he began. “Today I am voting for the first time in my life for the President of the United States, and it’s for someone I truly trust…me.”
Kardashian-West has not responded to fans, but it is worth noting that she did retweet a post about voting from Senator Kamala Harris today.
