Kendrick Lamar has worked hard enough to be considered a wealthy star. And while he’s not raking in the billions like Jay Z and Beyoncé, he is said to be worth a cool $18.5 million.
According to
Forbes, Lamar came in at No. 9 on the 2016 Cash Kings list. Specifics on his booking fee remain a mystery, but it’s likely that the rapper pulls in six figures per performance.
With that said, Lamar can spend his money in whatever way he desires.
And he recently did, buying his little sister, Kayla Duckworth, a 2017 Toyota for her high school graduation. The proud graduate shared pictures of the ride on Instagram.
While a few trolls thought he should have bought her something more lavish, like a Lamborghini or BMW, the majority of comments thought it was sweet and practical gift.
In addition to graduating on time, Duckworth has a 3-year-old daughter. So it’s likely her brother wanted her to have a safe, reliable car to get around with.
But logic is clearly not what trolls think about before typing.
