Karrueche Tran already stars in one of the year’s best comedies, Claws. Now, the actress is adding another comedic role to her resumé.

Tran has signed on to star in an upcoming high school comedy, Honored, in which four besties bury a time capsule before the start of high school. However, the friends drift apart and tragedy soon strikes, forcing them to reunite.

The film is set to be executive produced by Zoe Saldana and her sisters Cisely and Mariel.

Tran currently plays Virginia Loc on TNT’s hit dramedy Claws, opposite ESSENCE cover star Niecy Nash. She’s also set to appear in the upcoming drama, Never Heard, opposite Romeo Miller, David Banner and Robin Givens.
