Karrueche Tran can add another acting gig to her steadily growing résumé. The model and actress has been cast in the pilot for TNT’s Claws.
Tran will star opposite Niecy Nash in the hour-long dramatic comedy, which follows the lives of manicurists in Southern Florida.
According to Deadline, Tran will play a manicurist named Virginia, who has a lot of attitude and doesn’t really care for her job. Rashida Jones and Will McCormack’s Le Train Train is behind the project.
Claws is expected to be similar in style and tone to Desperate Housewives. No premiere date has been set yet.
