Kanye West and Kim Kardashian West have finally revealed the name of their new son — and it’s not lacking in its uniqueness!
The Wests seemed to have turned to the Bible for inspiration in naming their newborn son Psalm. Kardashian made the announcement on Instagram with the caption, “Psalm West.”
The photo appeared to be a screengrab of Mother’s Day text messages from West that included a photo of Psalm in his crib.
“Beautiful Mother’s Day,” West wrote to Kim. “With the arrival of our fourth child we are blessed beyond measure. We have everything we need.”
The couple welcomed Psalm last week via surrogate, due to Kardashian’s struggles with placenta accreta.
She tweeted the news shortly after the baby’s arrival last week, calling him “Chicago’s twin.”
“I’m sure he will change a lot, but now he l looks just like her,” she added.
This is the couple’s fourth child. The pair welcomed their first, North, back in June 2013. In December 2015, they welcomed a son, Saint. And their third child, Chicago, was born last year.
