It seems that Kanye West has decided to drop out of the 2020 presidential race. This comes less than 24 hours after he announced that he had written in his name on his ballot and voted for himself.

“KANYE 2024,” West, 43, posted on Twitter at a little after 3 AM on Wednesday. He also included a photo of him standing in front of an electoral college map. West first announced that he would be running for president on July 4, 2020.

Though he conceded, he did appear on the ballot for the following states: Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Utah and Vermont. Some fans outside of those areas were sure to write his name in as well.

On November 3, he posted “Today I am voting for the first time in my life for the President of the United States, and it’s for someone I truly trust…me.”

His wife, Kim Kardashian-West, shared last night that she had voted, although she did not comment on whether or not it was for her husband.
