The ‘Southern Eatery’ is now taking reservations

When will Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss’ restaurant open?

That was a big question throughout the most recent season of the hit Bravo show as we watched Burruss and her husband Todd Tucker going through the ups and downs of opening "The Old Lady Gang".

RHOA co-star Phaedra Parks even questioned if it would open at all during last week’s reunion special of season 9.

Well, the answer is that the southern eatery has been open since late March, according to Bravo.com. Burruss says she has kept mum about it because she wanted a soft-opening to work out all possible kinks early on.

“I want to be open for a month before we do a big grand opening, and that's just because clearly people are just waiting for something negative to say about me,” she said.

“Everything has to be perfect before we make big announcements,” she added. “So what I was told, the best thing to do is to do a soft opening, which is just [it's] open without telling people. And then just let the staff serve people and then we know who we need to fire or keep on.“

And based on Burruss’ Instagram account, the place is up and running. A number of Atlanta based stars, and even RHOA fans are making sure they stop by.
