Is Tiger Woods in the Sunken Place? Jordan Peele seems to thinks so.
The Get Out director called out Woods after it was announced that the golf champion would be playing a round of golf with President Trump.
“After Turkey call I will be heading over to Trump National Golf Club, Jupiter, to play golf (quickly) with Tiger Woods and Dustin Johnson,” President Trump tweeted on Friday.
The announcement left many confused about how Trump and Woods were even friends, but it was Peele’s tweet that gave the best explanation:
“Now you’re in The Sunken Place,” he tweeted referencing his blockbuster movie Get Out. The Sunken Place is where black men were hypnotized before their bodies were bought by white people in a secret auction. Peele tweeted the line along with a story about the golf date from the Golf Channel.
