John Legend has been a married man for nearly five years now, so when dishing out marriage advice, it’s safe to say he knows a thing or two.
When asked if he had any gems to pass along to newlyweds Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the singer was quick to weigh in with some worthy advice.
“I think you just have to listen to each other, love each other, take care of each other, communicate well, and then hopefully they can go off and make some babies, too,” he told Billboard as a special message for the new Duke and Duchess of Sussex. “That’ll be great.”
We agree, John, that would be great!
The Grammy, Oscar and Tony winner and his wife Chrissy Teigen have been together since 2007 and tied the knot in 2013. They just welcomed their second child together–a baby boy named Miles Theodore, who joined their 2-year-old daughter, Luna Simone.
Prince Harry and Markle tied the knot on Saturday, May 19 in St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in front of some Hollywood royalty including Oprah, Idris Elba, and his fiancée Sabrina Dhowre, Markle’s former Suits co-star Gina Torres, fellow newlyweds Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian and more!
