Joe Jackson has been hospitalized.
The Jackson clan are said to be flocking to the hospital bed of their 89-year-old patriarch, who is ill with terminal cancer, TMZ reports. His wife Katherine is one of the family members who has been at his bedside recently.
It is not clear how long he has been battling cancer.
“He’s very, very frail, he doesn’t have long,” Jermaine Jackson told the Daily Mail. “The family needs to be by his bedside – that’s our only intention in his final days.”
Jackson was hospitalized in 2016 with a high fever, though doctors at the time were not able to pinpoint the exact problem. In 2015, he suffered a stroke while celebrating his 87th birthday in Brazil. He was able to recover from the incident.
