The department store’s Twitter account definitely loves Beyonce's pregnancy photo -- no matter what anyone else thinks!
JC Penney just revealed itself as a card-carrying member of the Beyhive.
Beyonce’s pregnancy announcement on Wednesday had everyone cutting up on Twitter, sparking half a million tweets within the first 45 minutes, Twitter revealed. That’s nearly 17,000 tweets sent per minute!
One of those all over the Twitter chatter was department store JC Penney.
Not that the store had much of a choice. There were a number of witty commenters who joked that Bey’s pregnancy photo looked like it could have been taken at JC Penney’s Photo Studio. Some of those comments were positive, prompting lyric-ready responses from the brand.
But others comments were not as kind. And the store was very ready with fun-filled clapbacks!
