Jay Pharoah will not be returning to NBC’s Saturday Night Live this fall. According to TV Line, Pharoah and fellow SNL vet Taran Killam are leaving to pursue other projects.
Pharoah is infamous for his hilarious impressions of President Obama, hip-hop legends Jay Z, Kanye West, and Kendrick Lamar, and even fellow comedians Katt Williams and Kevin Hart.
SNL has some very big shoes to fill, but is expected to introduce several new cast members before Season 42 launches this fall. Pharoah has been with the cast for six seasons.
