Janet Jackson is “in good spirits” as she prepares for her upcoming State of the World tour, according to her make-up artist. “I think Janet is ready!” Preston Meneses told E! News. “She is happy and is in good spirits. I think the world is going to get something really special from her.”
This will be Jackson’s first tour as a mother, only months after she filed for divorce from her husband, Wissam Al Mana. The couple, who were married for five years, welcomed their first child Eissa this past January.
Jackson shared a photo of herself rehearsing for the tour earlier this week, and she looks ready to go!
“Hey u guys. I’m so excited for the State of the World Tour,” she captioned the photo. “We r in rehearsal mode. See u guys in 1 month!”
The tour launches on September 7 at the Cajundome in Lafayette, LA.
