In addition to seeing how the video came to life, we get to hear a beautiful, stripped-down rendition of the song featuring just Hathaway and an acoustic guitarist. The Grammy-winning daughter of R&B legend Donny Hathaway will join a star-studded lineup at the 2016 ESSENCE Festival, held June 30-July 3 in New Orleans. The July 4th weekend extravaganza features headlining performances by Maxwell (July 1), Mariah Carey (July 2) and Kendrick Lamar (July 3), as well as an epic finale with Puff Daddy & the Family.
