Ginuwine was one lucky father-of-the-bride when he had the honor of giving his stepdaughter De’jan away during her wedding ceremony this weekend.
De’jan is the oldest daughter of Ginuwine’s ex-wife Solé and the singer shared daddy-of-the-bride duties with her biological father and walked her down the aisle to Beyonce’s 1+1 and later shared a moment during the father/daughter dance during the reception with the blushing bride.
Ginuwine and Solé only had two children together, but he claims her children as his own. The Differences singer has 6 more times to give one of his daughters away, but admits he’s not ready to make that trip down the aisle for himself yet.
“Daughters I got the guns ready !!!!!! @cypresssoleil @storyasaundra wedding life 1 down 6 more to go marriage there’s nothing like it one day again I will be there but first gotta get this money lol!!!!” he shared in a picture with two of his daughters.
The wedding took place at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay around plenty of family and friends to celebrate including De’Jan’s sisters, Cypress, Story and Dream.
Not only did he walk his oldest girl down the aisle, but he got the newlyweds ready for their first night as Mr. and Mrs. McKenzie!
The singer brought the reception to another level when his first single, Pony, began to play and he started to sing and dance with the groom to his hit song. (Body roll included.)
