“I am turned on by a female who carries herself like a lady everywhere she goes,” says model Denzel Watkins.
“What I like most about Hollywood is that the networking level is so high because of the high population of successful people,” says Watkins. “I also like how easy it is to meet new people.”
Watkins is originally from Detroit, Michigan.
“I grew up on 7 Mile, a mile up from where Eminem filmed most of his movie 8 Mile,” says Watkins. “The city is not the best looking city but there are opportunities. I had a very good mother who made growing up in Detroit not as bad as it was for most kids. She accomplished that by showing me the ropes, teaching me independence and promoting an entrepreneurial mindset that I still have to this day.”
“I started modeling at the urging of my family and friends, specifically my uncle and my mom,” says Watkins. “Since they pushed me so much I took it upon myself to invest in my first shoot and I took my portfolio to an agency. That was my introduction to the modeling industry.”
“I love all that I do,” Watkins admits. “I feel it is important to be working or pursuing something that you enjoy doing because, if not, you’re making your life so much harder than it needs to be.”
“I believe dedication will get anyone to any position they desire,” says Watkins.
“What inspires me to keep going is providing for my family and not wanting to live the average lifestyle,” says Watkins.
“Church keeps me grounded and very inspired,” Watkins shares. We love a man who loves his faith.
“I work out every day except Sunday,” says Watkins. “That’s my rest day.”
“My favorite hobbies are going to networking events, parties and lounges,” says Watkins. “I love networking, so most of the time, if there is a large crowd scheduled to attend, I try my best to attend as well.”
Watkins is on a roll. He’s already a business owner and he continues to pursue his entrepreneurial dreams daily alongside furthering his modeling career.

“I am not looking for love right now, but at the same time, I’m not against having a serious conversation with a lady who grabs my interest,” says Watkins.
“I feel romance comes in due time, so to avoid poor decisions, I try not to rush it,” says Watkins.
“The perfect date would have to start with dinner at a classy but chill restaurant,” says Watkins. “That’s to break the ice. Food always puts me in a good mood.”
“The bravest thing I’ve ever done is go sky-diving in Las Vegas,” says Watkins.
