Talented hip-hop recording artist D.R.A.M. is heavy on the promo trail for the release of his highly-anticipated debut album, Big Baby D, and he’s spreading around a little Black Girl Magic in the process.
One of the album’s singles, Cute, is a light-hearted, fun celebration of all things girl power that’s sure to have us singing along sooner than later. D.R.A.M says he takes pride in making all women feel beautiful and appreciated, but he’s especially fond of being able to use his music to express his love for Black women.

“Cute was inspired by all of the beautiful women of all forms and walks of life,” he tells ESSENCE. “Most importantly and specifically my beautiful black sisters. I’ve been birthed from one, had crushes on many and expect to build life with one, somewhere along the line. I love everybody but especially my sisters. Spread love.”
