The rapper took a picture with "The Sweetest Taboo" singer that has fans sharing all their favorite Sade hits.
It wasn't enough for Drake, who is currently in London for the European leg of his "Boys Meets World" tour, to stop the world with his latest album. He had to shut the game down by posing with music royalty, singer Sade.
The 30-year-old brought Trey Songz on stage, hung out with Kardinal Official, took photos with newcomer Jorja Smith, and more importantly, was in the presence of Sade during his latest show.
As proof, Drake, his mother and "The Sweetest Taboo" singer took a photo backstage. In the photo posted to Instagram he wrote, "Two very important ladies in my life."
Since the start of her career, Sade has always been fairly private about her off-stage life, even limiting the amount of interviews conducted. The mother-of-one is said to live in South West England. Sade and her band are credited for being instrumental in starting the neo soul music genre.
Needless to say, when the photo made its way to social media, everyone was surprised that Drake got the opportunity to meet her.
The photo even had some fans singing her hits with a meme.
On Saturday, Drake released his More Life project of 22-songs with features from Kanye West, 2 Chainz, Quavo, Young Thung and Jorja Smith.
