According to the AP, Rodman’s SUV was headed north in a southbound carpool lane at about 12:30 a.m. The incident forced a vehicle to swerve into a diving wall to avoid crashing into his car.

Paul Meyer, his lawyer, said the incident occurred because of a poorly signed exit ramp.
