Woman Charged with Trespassing at Will and Jada Smith’s House

Three months after Ariel Archer was found in Will and Jada’s Smith’s California home, the 26-year-old is being charged with trespassing and refusing to leave private property and faces the possibility of serving six months in jail or paying a $1,000 fine. Queen Latifah Set to Star in New Faith-Based Movie

All hail the Queen. After her portrayal as Bessie Smith in HBO’s Bessie, Queen Latifah is returning to the big screen in Sony’s upcoming drama, Miracles From Heaven, based on a new novel of the same name. Obama to Deliver Eulogy at Rev. Clementa Pinckney’s Funeral

President Obama is scheduled to deliver the eulogy at the funeral of Rev. Clementa Pinckney, one of the nine victims fatally shot at Charleston’s Emanuel AME Church last week and the senior pastor of the church. In a statement last week, Obama expressed his sorrow and said that he had known Pinckney personally. The funeral is scheduled for Friday at 11 a.m. at the College of Charleston’s TD Arena. [Slate]

Walmart Promises to Remove Confederate Merchandise

Just hours after South Caroline Gov. Nikki Haley expressed support toward removing the Confederate flag from the state’s Capitol, Walmart made a similar decree.
