The passing of legendary actor-comedian John Witherspoon sent shockwaves through Hollywood, with many turning to social media to share their sadness over his death.
Witherspoon, who made magic in films like the Friday franchise and Boomerang, passed away on Tuesday night in Los Angeles, his manager Alex Goodman confirmed. He was 77.
The cause of death has yet to be announced.
