On Saturday, a video of CeeLo Green hanging out in the studio went viral after fans believed the singer was injured by an exploding iPhone. MediaTakeOut posted exclusive footage of the incident, but it turns out it was all part of a new project that the "Forget You'' singer is working on.

In a video posted to Facebook, Green apologized for freaking fans out and revealed it was all just a part of the plan to promote his new project. "What you saw today was a clip from a smaller video that we were shooting for a new project I'm doing called ‘Gnarly Davidson," he wrote. "I just want to thank everybody for their support and concern."
