How does the producer of Girls Trip celebrate it’s opening weekend success? Staying humble and toasting with his wife.
The film brought in over $30 million during it’s opening weekend, and Will Packer was thrilled.
After hearing that the film earned second place at the weekend box office, Packer and his lovely wife, Heather Packer, just had to celebrate.
The producer went to the beach with his leading lady, rented out a bar and picked up the tab for all of the patrons. He also enjoyed some “suga” from his wife, Heather as they celebrated his big win.
“To the winner goes the spoils! $30M worth of kisses! She’d give me these kisses if my movies made $3. We closed down this small beach bar. Look at the stools on the tables. I bought everybody drinks. There were 5 people in there. I’m a baller,” he shared.
Heather has been cheering Will on since they met in 2009 during a boat ride at ESSENCE Fest. A few years later, he proposed live on stage at the 2013 ESSENCE Fest. Their surprise wedding in the summer of 2015 was intimate and beautiful. Cheers to million dollar kisses!
