SWV’s Taj Johnson-George and her husband retired NFL player Eddie George is celebrating 13 years of matrimony.
The R&B singer is currently on tour with her group, but there’s always time to give your husband of 13 years a little Instagram love.
Both Taj and Eddie shared a collage of pictures from their wedding day, but Taj revealed a little more about the couple’s journey to together that helped them arrive at 13 years of marriage.
“@eddiegeorge2727 It took us three tries to get on track, 5 years dating ( 4 years long distance, 1 year in the same city), and 1 year of engagement to reach today. Happy Lucky 13th Anniversary My Love,” she shared.
Taj and Eddie are both entertainers and their marriage made it through NFL seasons, SWV tours and a reality show.
They were married in 2004 and renewed their vows in Nashville for their 10th anniversary which was featured on WeTV’s reality show SWV: Reunited. They share one son together, Eriq Michael.
