The tennis champ revealed on snapchat Wednesday morning that she is 20 weeks pregnant which, if you do the math, means she was expecting when she won the Australian Open in January!
Williams beat her sister, Venus Williams, to set a Grand Slam Record for 23 wins. Her good luck charm was perhaps her growing baby joy that she had not yet shared with the world.
Their first child isn’t the only thing the couple has to look forward to this year. The champ and her fiancé, Alexis Ohanian, are also planning their wedding. Ohanian popped the question in December and they broke the big news on Reddit, the site he co-founded in 2005.
While their wedding date is still unknown, Williams posted an Instagram photo in early April suggesting that she was indeed on the hunt for a wedding dress.
Serena is sure to get some amazing new mom advice from her bestie Beyonceé, who is also expecting two little ones of her own. We know these playdates will be flawless!
