While she may have taken Cardinez on as her new last name, she’ll always be a Smith, which is fully evidenced by the couple’s latest double date with mom and dad.
The Cardinezes joined the Smiths for a night out at the Barclays Center to watch the inaugural Big3 tournament. Date nights are nothing new for LL Cool J and Simone, who have been married for almost 22 years.

The Big3 league was founded by LL Cool J’s good friend Ice Cube, as a 3-on-3 concept featuring former NBA greats and players. The first game of the season took place in Brooklyn and both couples enjoyed floor seats for the game.
