There may be trouble in paradise for La La and Carmelo Anthony but they put their differences aside to celebrate Mother’s Day together with their son.
TMZ spotted the couple out for dinner in New York City on Sunday, the once happy couple dined together with their 10-year-old son Kiyan.
While walking together as a family, the estranged Mr. and Mrs. were noticeably awkward, presumably because paparazzi has followed their every move since news of their separation first broke.
This is the first time the couple was spotted together since their seperation was announced in mid-April.
During the MET Gala on May 1, La La sent an undoubtedly strong yet subtle message about her mood amid she and her husband of seven years’ forthcoming divorce.
Wearing a ring on every finger but her ring finger, the 37-year-old shared an image of her gorgeous red carpet look on Instagram with the caption, “Unbreakable.”
The couple is working on a custody agreement, but for now, she will be the primary caretaker for Kiyan who they welcomed in March of 2007.
Prior to their night out, the POWER actress celebrated her son on Instagram with a sweet photo and message to match for her offspring.
It’s nice to see these two take the high road for the sake of their son.
