A divorce is in the future for Janet Jackson and her husband Wissam Al Mana but the billionaire magnate made sure his wife felt loved for her 51st birthday.
Entertainment Tonight reports that the 42-year-old sent his estranged Mrs. 100 roses and orchids to mark her turning another year older.
The sweet gesture, a source told ET, was one made in good faith that while romantic love has been lost between them, there is a possibility for happiness together in the future.
“Janet and her husband are separated, but have a mutual love and admiration for each other,” the source notes. “There doesn’t seem to be a reconciliation in the future, but never say never.”
Jackson confirmed that she and Al Mana were in court for divorce proceedings on May 1. Reports surfaced in the spring that the two were splitting but were maintaining a cordial relationship for the sake of their son, Eissa, who they welcomed in January .
