Ciara and Russell Wilson have made it to their first marriage milestone, and they’re celebrating with their usual outpouring of love on social media.
The couple tied the knot on July 6, 2016 in a surprise wedding just days after the singer slayed the mainstage at ESSENCE Fest.
CiCi and the Seattle Seahawks quarterback jumped the broom at the Peckforton Castle in Liverpool, England with a host of family and friends as a witness to their union.
The first year of marriage for the Wilsons was a good one. The couple announced in October of 2016 that they were expecting their first child together, then welcomed their daughter Sienna Princess in April. Their baby girl joined CiCi’s son Future to make their family of four complete.
Just days before their anniversary, Ciara shared a celebratory Fourth of July video on Instagram with a simple caption dedicated to her hubby and the passion they share.
“Every night it’s fireworks @DangeRussWilson,” she wrote.
To commemorate their special day, the proud wife and mom sent out a cute moment on the ‘Gram.
