It is likely that Bill Cosby will be classified as a sexually violent predator following his sexual assault conviction earlier this year.

According to the Associated Press, the district attorney’s office asked a judge in a filing Tuesday to schedule a hearing on whether to accept the recommendation by Pennsylvania’s Sexual Offenders Assessment Board.

The status would require Cosby to register as a sex offender and undergo treatment on a monthly basis, Philly.com reports.

He will also have to register as a sex offender in Massachusetts if he returns to his sprawling estate there, according to the Boston Herald.

Cosby was convicted of sexually assaulting Andrea Constand in 2004 after more than a half-dozen women testified the comedian drugged and raped them.

More than 50 women accused the 80-year-old actor of assaulting them throughout the years. Assistant Montgomery County District Attorney Kristen Feden said Cosby used his fame to take advantage of women.

He is scheduled to be sentenced for these charges in late September.
