Last week, Rihanna hosted her third annual Diamond Ball, and Beyoncé and husband Jay-Z were in attendance. Beyoncé wore a gorgeous satin teal gown from House of CB, which was actually a steal at only $165. (You can shop the dress here.) But the price tag of Beyoncé’s dress wasn’t the most surprising part about her look—it was what the singer sported underneath her dress.
As Beyoncé left the event hand-in-hand with Jay-Z, paparazzi snapped photos that revealed the singer was wearing Spanx underneath the dress, and she had even creatively cut off the leg of the shapewear on the side of slit. Talk about genius! But what surprised us and the rest of the Internet was that Beyoncé even wears shapewear in the first place!
PR strategist Sakita Holley tweeted about Beyonce’s look with the caption: “The good sis Beyoncé cut one leg off her spanx to accomodate the high slit in her dress and I’ve never felt more connected, tbh.”
