At the strike of 12pm EST, Beyonce posted a 15-second clip to her Instagram account with the subtle caption #LEMONADE 4.23 9PM ET | HBO.
The accompanying clip features Bey’s golden-cornrowed crown nestled inside the nook of the sleeve of her fur coat as she leans her head against what appears to be a car. As the camera pans in slowly, an eerie sound fills the air before Beyonce whispers, “What am I gonna do, love? What am I gonna do?” Before LEMONADE pops up the screen, and the proclamation of a world premiere event next Saturday 9ET/6PT.
Not sure about y’all, but we know what we’ll be doing: patiently waiting for next Saturday!
There’s no word on whether ‘Lemondade’ is in reference to a new music video or a mini-movie, but either way our collective cups runneth over in anticipation.
