Beyoncé has done it again! The superstar continued her Halloween slay on Monday night by dressing up as a fierece Barbie doll complete with a life size box with the words “Black Barbie” emblazoned across the bottom. And of course she wasn’t allow in her epic look — Jay Z and their daughter Blue Ivy were right by her side as Ken and a mini Barbie.
It was only a few days ago that the Carter clan nailed their first round of Halloween costumes — 80s and 90s themed getups. Bey, Blue Ivy and Tina Lawson stepped out as the legendary female rap group Salt-N-Pepa and killed it. But we’ve got say these Barbie and Ken dolls are particularly epic.
Beyoncé’s black-and-white stripped bodysuit, black peep-toe pumps, high ponytail, cat eye sunglasses are a perfect homage to the first-ever Barbie that debuted in 1959. And Blue Ivy’s pint-size leather jacket with the word “Barbie” across the back, sparkly pink skirt and metallic silver sneakers was uber adorable.
Jay Z was ever bit a classic Ken doll in a black tuxedo, silver bowtie and mataching cummerbund. The Grammy Award-winning rapper even sported a sleek boffant wig all while posing in his life-size box that read “Black Collector Edition” and “40th Anniversary Ken.”
