Fans had speculated over what would happen with the performance after the singer announced that she was expecting twins.
Well, it's offical! Beyoncé has canceled her Coachella performance.
The "Daddy Lessons" singer, who had recently announced that she and husband Jay Z were expecting twins, had fans speculating over whether she'd appear at the annual festival. Beyoncé's Parkwood Entertainment and festival producer Goldenvoice confirmed via a statement to The Associated Press that she was pulling out of the festival due to her doctor's orders.
"Following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months, Beyoncé has made the decision to forgo performing at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival. However, Goldenvoice and Parkwood are pleased to confirm that she will be a headliner at the 2018 festival. Thank you for your understanding."
Earlier this month the singer gave a stellar performance at the Grammy's, her first after her pregnancy acnnouncement.
Beyoncé was expected to perform April 15 and 22, it's not clear if another performer will take her place.
