Beyonce released a thank you letter to fans days after celebrating her 37th birthday this week.
The “Lemonade” singer thanked the “hive” in a touching birthday message
on her website that also listed why her 36th year was a “monumental” one for her. Blue Ivy’s mom also shared photos from her personal stash of her birthday party and highlights of the past year.
“I became a mother of 3. I breastfed twins. I renewed my vows with my husband of ten years. I came back home to stage to do Coachella, after pregnancy. Then my husband and I released our album together, ‘Everything Is Love.’ And we’ve been touring with our family around the world, and loving it,” she wrote.
Queen Bey then went on to thank the people in her life “for all the positivity and the beautiful birthday wishes.”
One of the
sweetest birthday wishes came from her mother, Tina Knowles Lawson, who called Beyonce “the nicest owner of the most beautiful, generous, loving hearts ever” in an early birthday message.
On Beyonce’s actual birthday — September 4 — her husband Jay-Z took her on a dream trip to Sardinia, Italy. Bey shared tons of pics from the relaxing vacay on Instagram Thursday.
The duo are in the middle of the North American leg of their “On The Run II” tour.
Beyonce finished her own message with her vision for the next chapter: “I’m looking forward to continuing to learn from my past, living in the present, and surrendering to the future.”
