Azealia Banks is speaking out about the abuse she allegedly faced at the hands of Coldplay's manager Dave Holmes.
Banks has spoken out before, but in a recent Instagram post she revealed disturbing new details. The events allegedly occurred in 2012, the night before Banks shot the video for "1991" and shortly after the pair got back together. Holmes had previously broken up with her after she was dropped by XL Recordings. Shortly after their reunion an argument over $2,000 got heated and that's when things went off the rails.
In her post, the rapper accuses Holmes of putting her in a headlock and dragging her by the hair into a freezing shower after an argument turned violent. The singer also adds that she told her hairstylist Brianna about the incident the next day.
This isn't the first time Banks has accused Holmes of assault.
In 2012, Banks fired off since-deleted tweets calling Holmes a "piece of shit," accusing him of domestic violence. She later cryptically tweeted, "A Jealous Man is a Dangerous man" and "Karma will get you sir."
