During an appearance on Conan this week, Black-ish star Anthony Anderson revealed his own mother taught him how to pleasure a woman.
“My mother taught me how to go downtown…she taught me how to eat the cookie,” he said before the audience reacted with laughter. On the late night talk show, he said the woman who gave birth to him, Doris Hancox, didn’t want her “three boys out in the world not knowing how to do that,” therefore, she felt it was her “duty as a woman” to teach her children how to properly complete the act.

With the help of her video collection, he said she would “go into graphic detail” about what the sexual act should consist of. “It turned out to be great knowledge,” Anderson joked.
However, not everyone agreed with Anderson’s honesty, including journalist Roland Martin, who responded with a tweet:
