We had to do a double take when we saw the always fabulous Angela Bassett hit the 2016 Emmys red carpet.
This time, it wasn’t just her beauty we were stunned by but her gorgeous custom Christian Siriano gown looked familiar.
Earlier this year the designer sent actress Danielle Brooks down the runway in a similar flowing frock as a part of his collection with Lane Bryant that left us in awe.
Bassett’s look seems to be a bit more curve-hugging, offering more sleek lines.
The designer took to Instagram to thank Angela for wearing his piece, confiming that it was indeed a custom creation.
Either way, we’re loving this dress and admittedly excited that women everywhere can get the look for a fraction of the price.
