Christina Milian, Ester Dean and others speak on the lifelong bonds of true sisterhood to honor the upcoming release of Sisters movie (out December 18!).
“We’ve always been there for each other, through breakups or even having babies. Lizzy hasn’t done it yet but there’s nothing better than knowing when you’re having those big or bad moments and having your close family with you.” -Christina
“We’re always there for one another anytime one of us needs something. For instance, I had a few health scares this year and my sisters were jumping on planes and staying overnight. I respect that fact that we are able to come together for one another ’cause I know a lot of people who don’t have the support group that we have.” -Danielle
“If you have sisters and brothers you stay close to one another ’cause if I gotta work late one day, I’m sending one of my sisters over to pick my kids up and they feel, they’re not missing anything ’cause they love their aunts just as much as their moms.” -Danielle
“We’ve been through poverty together and through that we’ve been through praying together and getting through some of the toughest times and understanding that it’s gonna get better.” -Christina
“The best advice I ever got was when Danielle told me to always wear makeup to work. That way if you’re mad at everyone you don’t wear makeup and they know there’s a difference so if someone says, ‘What’s wrong,’ you’re like, ‘Nothing.’ It’s because I’m not wearing makeup that day and it worked. In fact, my job sent me home one day cause they thought I was sick. They were like, ‘Liz, do you want to go home,’ and I was like, ‘I’m fine’ but they sent me home anyway.” -Elizabeth

““The best advice Deandria ever gave me is [actually] not advice she gave me but support. Through my whole journey of growing up she was always there to check the books, cuss the manager out and pack my clothes. She just did so much for me that I couldn’t put it all into words.” -Ester
“Shayne is Shayne, there’s no real way to describe her besides that because once you get to know her you understand Shayne is Shayne. She’s one of the smartest people I know and she’s also one of the most grounded people I know.” -Bria
